Not sure where to start here, the food? Fabulous! The service? Exceptional! And clean, clean, clean from the restaurant to the bathrooms (okay, may not seem like a big deal until you've seen the bathrooms I have seen... shudder!). Our server, America (cool name, right?!) was one of the best front counter servers I have had in a long time! Kudos to you America! They are lucky to have you! The only person I did not encounter was their cook(s), I made sure America let them know how juicy, tender and and perfectly prepared the food was. Reasonable prices too! I am definitely going back to Yoshinoya in Tustin, Cali! FIVE STARS all around! ☆☆☆☆☆

Yoshinoya is always good. This one is one of the top ones around. Definitely go there if you like yoshinoya.

No complaints, quick service and good food, typical yoshinoya. Also glad to see they are taking covid seriously, requiring masks and social distancing in the store. People were asked to move back from the pick up counter so that only one person was there at any time.

Yoshinoya is so underrated in America. Albeit some places make it terribly. The gyudon is actually not too bad here for the price. I'd steer clear of other things on the menu

This place has a drive thru! I was in a rush and the drive thru was a bonus. There were 3 vehicles in from of me and I was on my within 20 minutes. The food was great just like all the other locations I've been to. I always ordered a clam chowder and this place didn't disappoint (I've been served watery clam chowder at other locations, had to return). It's a few minutes away from the freeway so it's very convenient.

Ordered online for takeout and the food was ready when they said. Inside was very clean and the service was quick. Pretty good size portions. They gave a lot of salmon. Some places skimp out but I was impressed.

Excellent Japanese cuisine, with the convenience of a drive-thru. You can mix and match your favorite entrees, and side dishes. For about three bucks more, you can add a drink and dessert. (Most places charge almost that for just the dessert.)

One of my favorite fast food chain to go to! Yes, I know Yoshinoya. The given 4 stars is really just for the food & affordability. The Gyduon Beef with all veggies (sometimes rice) and extra side of beef broth is my fav here. Service and ambiance is lackluster. Accuracy of the order needs mad work. The CONS I have: (1) They use Styrofoam containers. Beware, juices leak out easily. (2) Drive-thru ordering, whenever I order more than 1 item - the staff almost if not always gets my order wrong. They can't seem to understand one order is no rice but all veggies and other order is as is (rice and veggies). (3) Mobile App does not have an option to select all veggies or option to do 1/2 veggies and 1/2 rice. Just to note: whether or not it is just this location but the one time I decided to try the Teriyaki Grilled Ribeye and the Udon -- it was the worst the decision I have ever made. My brother warned me but I did not heed. Well, you can see my photos - never have I had ribeye and udon be cooked so horribly bad and to the point un-edible. The PROS I have: (1) The Beef Gyudon is the best here (2) Surprisingly, the Sweet & Spicy Edamame is y pretty good here (3) Love using the coupons, such a saving on cost. Fun fact for those who did not know: The chain was established in Japan in 1899. Founded by Mr. Eikichi Matsuda, Yoshinoya is named after his hometown, Yoshino-Cho, Osaka. Yoshinoya does stick to their motto: Fast, Tasty and Affordable. Hence, I will always return!

Haven't been here in a while because it's far from home. Glad to see some new items on their menu. Tried mango lemonade and tokyo fried chicken, both were good. Gyoza was burnt, so i had to remove the burnt parts. Good value for the money especially these days. We'll be back more because of the new menu items and reasonable prices. I hope they'll open more locations.

Did you know Yoshinoya has been cooking up delicious Japanese rice bowls, fast and at an affordable price, since 1899? I sure didn't, and I was also surprised by the poor reviews of the Tustin location found at the intersection of Newport Avenue and Walnut Avenue. My go-to is always the Combo Bowl with original Gyudon beef served over rice and with veggies. Customers can pick 2 proteins so I also took the opportunity to try their new Tokyo Fried Chicken and it did not disappoint. If you appreciate some heat, I recommend sprinkling their Shichimi spice powder on top of your meal. I'd also recommend requesting ginger and combining it with your beef. From my experience, the service has always been acceptable at this location despite what other reviewers may say. I've always found Yoshinoya to be a reliable Asian fusion fast food option and that hasn't changed.
